Superintendent Search Community Survey Open Until November 15

The Wellsville CSD Board of Education is announcing the posting for the Superintendent Vacancy in the district. The Board is being assisted in the process of selecting a Superintendent by Scott E. Payne, District Superintendent and CEO, Cattaraugus-Allegany BOCES, who will screen applications and recommend a group of candidates to the Board. All decisions concerning the selection process and candidate appointment will be made by the Board. The Board is seeking input from the school community through a series of focus group meetings arranged and facilitated by Mr. Payne. A community survey is posted on the district’s website and can be found at this link: Wellsville Community Survey. The survey will be open until November 15^th. The planned timeline is: 

·       Application Deadline: Friday, November 15, 2024

·       Meetings with Constituency Groups Completed by: December, 2024

·       Applicant Review and Selection of Candidates by the Board of Education: Monday, November 25, 2024

·       Initial Interviews with BOE: Monday, January, 6, 2025

·       Finalist Interviews with the BOE: January 13, 14, & 15, 2025

·       Anticipated Start Date: March, 1, 2025
