Head Custodian

  • The Wellsville Central School District has the following opening:

    Head Custodian (District Wide)

    • 12-month position, 2nd shift
    • Competitive Civil Service position
      • Candidates must complete and submit a Civil Service application along with an employment application
    • Minimum requirements
      • High school diploma or GED and three (3) years of experience in building, cleaning and maintenance work, OR, three (3 years of experience in any of the standard mechanical or construction trades
    • Immediate start date
    • Pay Rate:  $20 – $23 per hour (based on experience)

Bus Mechanic

  • The Wellsville Central School District has the following opening:

    Bus Mechanic

    • Full-time, 12-month position
    • Minimum requirements:
      • Six (6) months of experience in auto repair work, or; one (1) year of vocational/technical school training in auto repair, or; an equivalent combination of training and education
      • Bus driver's license also preferred, or, to be obtained within the first 12 months of hire
    • Immediate start date
    • Starting rate of $20/hour (will pay more for experience)

  • The Wellsville Central School District has the following open bus driver positions:

    • One (1) 10-month position, 5.25 hours per day
    • Two (2) 10-month positions, 5 hours per day
    • Starting rate of $20 per hour
    • Full-time benefits available
    • Requires High School Diploma (or GED) and CDL Class B with a P&S endorsement
