CPSE

The Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) consists of a Committee that is approved by the Board of Education.  Students are eligible for this program between the ages of 3-5.  Please contact the Director of Special Education, Mary VanEtten (585-596-2185), if you are interested in referring your child to Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) to determine eligibility for a Special Needs Program/Services.

 

CPSE Members

  • The Parent/Guardian of the Child
  • Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) Chairperson
  • Elementary School Psychologist
  • General Education Teacher
  • Special Education Teacher
  • Allegany County Department of Health Preschool Coordinator (CPSE)
  • Allegany County Department of Health Early Intervention Coordinator
  • Other individuals who have knowledge or special expertise about the Child
  • Parent/Guardian may invite other individuals to attend Child’s Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) Meeting
    • Please notify the Special Services Department, prior to the CPSE Meeting, as to who will be attending the CPSE Meeting in addition to the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) Members.
